The Brief

FOX Network Group’s annual Upfront presentation is a high-stakes, multimillion-dollar event that generates over $2 billion in advertising commitments. The task is to transform their corporate media presentation into a fully immersive, large-scale stage experience that communicates brand clarity, excitement, and strategic messaging to an audience of top-tier media buyers.

The Challenge

Design a cohesive visual system across a vast, multi-screen LED setup — totaling over 18 million pixels — while maintaining pixel accuracy, brand fidelity, and high-end polish. The project also required rapid creative iteration, fast rendering turnaround, and the ability to execute on-site at a broadcast-ready level, year after year.

The Solution

Over four consecutive Upfronts, I built and led a dedicated animation team sourced from some of the industry’s top motion graphics talent. We handled all look development and animation, translating FOX’s internal presentations into compelling motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, and full-screen visuals mapped precisely to the LED stage.

To meet production demands, I oversaw the setup of an on-site animation studio and render farm, enabling real-time adjustments and high-volume rendering. Our animations were delivered fully packaged and aligned with the show’s visual structure, including speaker timing, transition points, and multi-screen layout. All assets were passed to a content wrangler for quality control and integration into the playback system.

The Impact

The work was a visual cornerstone of FOX’s Upfronts — helping secure billions in ad commitments by turning dense business messaging into dynamic, brand-led storytelling. Our team delivered on-site and under pressure, raising the bar for corporate event visuals and demonstrating the power of animation to transform high-stakes communication.
