Game of Thrones — Live Concert Experience Visuals

The Brief

Bring the emotional depth and iconic visuals of Game of Thrones to the live stage, blending music and motion into one unforgettable moment during the Live Concert Experience tour.

The Challenge

Create a 3D animation of the legendary Weirwood Tree—growing from darkness across a three-tier LED screen—to visually accompany the track “Goodbye Brother.” The visuals needed to be cinematic, immersive, and deeply connected to the tone of the original HBO series while functioning within the constraints of a live arena setting.

The Solution

Using Cinema 4D, Octane, and the Forester plugin, I directed the creation of a custom animation sequence that mirrored the emotional arc of the music. The Weirwood Tree emerged from shadow in a slow, organic build — its limbs reaching across massive LED structures while red leaves pulsed with ambient light.

The animation was carefully designed to complement the musical phrasing and mapped precisely across a three-tier LED screen, ensuring full visual integration with lighting, staging, and live orchestration.

The Impact

The moment became a powerful visual centerpiece within the concert experience — offering fans a cinematic callback to the series in a new medium. The tree’s growth on screen mirrored the emotional intensity of the music, turning a fan-favorite theme into a live spectacle. Translating epic television visuals into an immersive, real-time performance setting was a rare chance.

Cinematic Worlds. Concert Scale.
I bring iconic IP to life through motion — tailored for LED, live music, and fan-first spectacle.
